you turn on the tv / radio and all you hear is about the korean guy who killed 32 people. practically the whole world is talking abou it. so, is this gonna be another incident that we'll forget in time to come? or will it be a learning experience for all of us.
it kinda reflects on the society we are living in now. everyone of us is preoccupied with our own things. we need to study becoz globalisation is all about paper chase and we work to chase our dreams. in the meantime, do we have some time to spare and lend someone a listening ear? maybe we will. we'll listen to your problem once, twice, thrice. but if its a repetitive problem, will you continue to listen to him/her? or by then, we would realise all the weakness that person has and shunt him/her away. because they will be labelled as psychos or weirdos that we do not want to be associated with. how would the person feel, being a loner. think about it. take a look around you and put yourself in other people's shoes. until then, you wouldnt know what the other party is going thru.

in life, we try new things, we have high expectations. it is ok if all turns out smoothly. but what if it fails? we'll fall flat and only we can pick ourselves up. there's no one person in life we can depend on to pick us up. becoz that person might fail us yet again. we have to be strong ourselves, esp when loneliness creeps right through your door.

woootz. been a really long time since i last blogged. juz simply lazy to blog. since i'm free now...waiting for the someone to call me...i shall blog it. haha...

this weekend has been FANTASTIC! great weekend to sum up my whole boring week. yest...went out all day with my darling. yuppz. i think its our first time out shopping together. love ya loads for accompanying me the whole day shopping. which is like...NOT a guy thing. haha...that's y u r my bf. haha!! =x and then...we bought many many many stuff. n we watched u me n dupreee!! nice show. and oooo...we FINALLY had mac breakfast. yummy!! n we basically shop n eat n watched movie for the whole day. walked from somerset to far east back to cine then to taka. hehehz. had fun darling. u had fun too riteee..... *smacks* (x
and then...one whole day just disappears like that. damn...24hrs a day ISNT enuff.

today...i dragged myself outta bed just to attend kenshu kai. was pretty amazed that my dad n i were early for it. coz we left home at 7.45am and reached tampines at 8am. wootz! meeting was good good good great wonderful!! *thumbs up* i think its the best meeting i've attended so far this year. =x the testimonial the lady gave was good. so touching, i almost cried. listened to how pple struggled, how determined they were when problems came, how miracles DO happen. its wonderful. so encouraging.

oh, and there was this Q&A session. this lady was happily complaining bout her son. kept saying how he would support his wife for meetings, how fortunate he is, how much benefits he has gained from this buddhism...BUT then, and more but then, she just hopes that her son would chant seriously and not chant only when problem arises. and she was asking how to make him chant when there's no problems. saw the caps BUT above? its a NEGATIVE BUT. she ought to be happy that her son is having a smooth life..attaining so much benefits but yet...she wants MORE.
doesnt it reflects on our life, when we're so fortunate, when everythings going right, we'll just find fault with something. even if its a minor thing, we'll still find some fault with it. n make ourselves feel so miserable. haha..so...b happy pple.

its been awhile since i last blogged. simply lazy to blog. bet u pple missed me alot. lolz!

its the last day of april and its been such a wonderful mth. (= celebrated our 1st mth together with my darling. *beams* *grins* and there was freshmen orientation for wushu ( which was today, at sentosa ). i must say, they r a great bunch of pple! so sporty. haha. kahboon!! more outing pls. better drag the yr ones out. haha. okz, n i went genting with the soka members like 3 weeks ago. *thumbs up!* waking up in the morning doing gongyo together. risking our lives to sit crazy rides like that vertical roller coaster thingy. and also the superman ride (which we found pretty boring. but i had a great time screaming my head off for fun) n taking a cab from KL to genting at wee hours in the morning. n the cab's speedometer was spoilt though. n kenji's cab ran on gas. haha. cool drivers i tell u. and 2 weeks ago, my company had this effie awards thingy where judges from various companies come n judge commercials. juz preparing that event was tiring manz. stayed up the entire nite to ensure that everything went well. n i guess it did. (= n we got to stay in a suite at grand copthone!! weeheee! but sadly, we stayed in that suite for less than 2hrs. coz most of the time we were bz preparing those stuff for the event. frigging tired. hmmz...n wad else. i love this mth becoz i found myself a job. n they extended my contract. cant wait to attend the gala dinner in june. *smiles* n then, yest, i attended fri nite rendezvous for the first time. not bad. if only the guy played songs from simple plan i'll b over the moon. (= n he is cute manz!! woohooz!! lolz. darling, don b jealous kz. (=

sometimes i wonder, have i not tried hard enuff. am i not determined enuff. or am i not focus enuff. all the things that i did, all the stuff that i prayed for. y did the teeny weeny stuff get answered but not my biggest wish. in second yr, i thot next time when i grew up, i wanna work in an advertising firm. n now, i got a job there. though i'm juz a temp there but there's so many things to learn there. i was quite surprised when i got this job. it was like...u gave me something i wanted though i din ask for it. then i prayed that they'll extend my contract n they did. wells, thats good though. but those r juz lil stuff i need in my life. i want something bigger something that will determine my future. but y aint u giving itto meeeee. )`= yes. i really feel like screaming now. i anticipated that rejection letter. but the feeling is juz totally diff when u receive it. arghz!!
wad if i get a full time job n i don feel like studying. wad if i go overseas n i don make it back. there's so many wad ifs. although the path to it is like exciting, its like...yay, i'm trying out something new. but u nv noe wads the outcome. n it isnt cheap going overseas. sickening manz. its more than a nitemare i tell u. it gets more painful when reality sinks in. n when u realised that u hav let more than urself down.

and oh yes...bad news this week. on my second day of work, a cleaner fell to her death from my building. *shocking* its like...WHAT?!! i guess it wasnt reported in the papers. mayb they fear bad publicity for those companies in my building? oooo` n today, the monk came over n did some prayers. *gosh* n the people in my company were like talking...saying, y suicide. sometimes i wonder if u people ever feel suicidal at some point in ur life? i would admit that i've. haha. n i guess, if u are not suicidal or depress, u wont know wad it feels like to b depress. its when u don meet up with those expectations, u feel as though there's no point in living. when u yearn for something u arent. when u cant become that someone u wish u wanna be. and when u feel like ur goal n aim in life is like drifting further n further n becoming more n more unreachable. but i guess, even if u cant achive that goal, u can alwayz set new goals. (= n u to u gotta learn to love u you really are. all those flaws that are within us are there for us to change. life is all about changing onself to b a better person. u cant be perfect. but u can b near perfect. that is...to live each day to the fullest. n achieving the best in life. today may not be a good day, but tml will definitely be a better day. thats y we look forward to tml. hahaaaa`

(x i'm becoming a movie freak. haha. watched typhoon today n tristen n iosolde the day before yest. typhoon was GOOD!! love those kinda shows. esp koreans. coz the ending is alwayz so fresh n new. n typhoon is kinda gruesome. n i love it to bits. lolz!! its better than watching those horror flicks anywayz. its so sad when pple from the same country bear grudges against one another. n its so touching when the evil guy stabs himself...instead of killing the other guy. when at the end of it, the evil guy isnt all that evil actually. he may have evil plans n stuff, but only a truly evil person will carry it out.

yay. this week has been terrific! lets see..

on thu, went settler's with the gakkai pple after our diving theory test. =x it was fun!! first time going there...n i bet it wont b my last. lolz! played those games for donno how many hrs, and at the end of it...i felt so brain dead. lolz! i wanna play cetale again!! hrrmmmz...i wonder if u spell cetale that way. o.O oh wellz. haha. then after that...we headed dwn to chevrons to bowl. goodness....i really suck at bowling. lolz! but....its been a long long lonnnngg time since i last bowl. lolz! since sec sch? o.O i think my last time bowling was at queensway there...its was super cheap last time. haha.

then on fri...we went labrador park for our first open dive. they said visibility there is super bad..the most is 1m. haha. but we were lucky! visibility there was good! way better than expected. it wasnt like 'milo peng' like how one of the instructor said it would b. hoho! saw corals. n i got cut buy those bloody corals. coz my fin dropped out. n yes...we saw fishes too. a dory fish? it looks like dory fish anywayz..haha. and the 2nd dive was TERRIBLE manz. coz i couldnt pee. =x pple should learn frm me. wahahah! i don pee into the sea. omg. cant believe i had trouble peeing into the sea. hold my bladder until i had stomachache after dinner. haha. oh wells`

sat...we went pulau hantu to dive! that was fun. but i had trouble equalizing during the second dive. grrr. my ears were totally block! bad bad bad. juz 1 more metre n i'll reach the bottom...but somehow, i juz couldnt go any lower. n the more i tried to equalize, the harder i squeezed my nose. n there were blood in my mucus. lolz! gross. haha. ooooo!!! n we saw sea urchin! so spikey! darnz scary! n onboard the boat...we saw a sea snake. with black n white strips all over it. eekz. n lil did we know its poisonous!! haha. n we saw more fishes. lolz
after that...went home, coz i had to attend some wedding dinner. lolz. tired tired`

we started off today by swimming 4 laps! omg. it was madness i tell u. cant even rem when was the last time i really went to swim (excluding those random swims at sentosa). its like...since secondary sch. lolz! o.O anywayz...was totally darnz tired after that 4 laps. arms aching like crazy. n then we learn those basic stuff for diving. so exciting. learnt how to enter the pool with ur oxygen tank n stuff. how to SAVE and rescue pple. =x and how to defog that horrible mask. how to swim with that darnz flippers. niceee!! makes me wanna go overseas n dive. lolz! i n told my bro bout it. haha! bet he's tempted to learn scuba diving too. weetz! mayb nx time we can go diving together. lolz. n steal those corals. =x

went to watch william's performance. chinese orchestra wors. n someone was a soloist. wohohoh! pro. *claps* hmmz...i donno how to appreciate chinese songs. but the most interesting thing was watching them play. yes...i meant WATCH not listen. lolz` its like...the whole orchestra will move together. esp when they play those fast pieces. exciting manz. ermz...i think the best pieces were the on call piece? =x okokz...mayb the first and last pieces are nice. haha. wootz! well done william! but i guess...u could have dance she bangs? =x *JK! haha...the orchestra seems PRO anywayz. (= *thumbs up* i made the right choice of going to support him.

weeee...let me blog a lil before my account gets terminated. lolz! bz bz bz these days. and if i'm not bz, i juz don hav the mood to blog. haha. oh wells. last few days, or weeks, have been pretty exciting. so many things happening. there was dinner and dance aka prom nite for CLS, and the reunion dinner, fyp presentation, 1st time clubbing at mos with my classmates, our first ever official class photo taking session, the farewell party u name it manz. how amazing, three years sounds like its gonna be a long time. 3 years is equal to like 1/7 of your lifetime. but looking back at those three years u spend in poly, u juz realised that time flies so fast. so fast that u don even know that it flew by. 3 more weeks and that will be a closure to a chap in my life. and at the same time, it'll b the start of a new beginning. a life filled with more uncertainties. u don know how frigging scared i'm right now, but then again, i'm excited too. new stuff awaits. new goals to set. n this time, i'll make sure i'll achieve them. lolz! lets reach for the sky pple! went botanic garden with my parents juz now. they did their excercise while i ran. (X i feel so healthy now. haha. havent been exercising for a long time. after running ard that pond, i walked ard botanic garden. so amazing how one path leads to another and another. and without taking the same route back, u somehow will end up where u desire to go. it feels like u r walking blindly. not planning your route. but its simply juz following your heart isnt it... haha. n i almost got lost!! 0.0!! coz the place was like revamping n stuff. oooooo...n i saw a big huge fluffy retriever!! *drools* so darns cute!! (= then i saw this couple. lady walking the dog while the guy was pushing the pram with two kids in it. my ideal family manz. :x n they spoke in some foreign language. the language that sims family speak? lolz!!! so interesting!!
